The 7th Annual Holiday Store

Mix 107.9's 7th Annual Holiday Store has closed for another year and we thank you ALL for donating gifts and toys, clothing and money too. Here's a little behind the great cause we support...

We love giant checks!

Thank you to Dave Johnson from Kennebec Electric & Lighting, College Av. in Waterville who sponsored the Holiday Store broadcast on Friday December 9th.

Thank you to all the ladies from New Balance Shoes who visited the store and came on air too!

Thank you 'Johnny Selected Seeds'! Look what they dropped off at our office!

Thank you Wyatt and Evan Demott

Aubery (aged 5) her mom, sister and Ryan also visited our offices with gifts.

Thank you.

At the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers, we believe every child deserves the right to reach his or her full potential. Since the inception of our agency in 1899, we have made a difference in the lives of many children and families throughout the State of Maine.

The Maine Children’s Home is a very special place. Couples eager to add to their families come to us for our extensive international and domestic adoption experience. Parents entrust our early care and education facility with the nurturing of their children. Teen parents count on us to provide positive mentoring and the practical life skills they need to become good parents. Youth, families, and individuals come to the Maine Children’s Home for compassionate counseling services in a nurturing environment.

The holidays are here and the Christmas Program is in full swing. As community members drop off warm clothing and toys more than 300 volunteers bustle to get gifts sorted and packed by the holidays, ensuring more than 1600 area families in Maine will have something special under their tree. In the summer approximately 150 underprivileged boys and girls get to experience summer camp thanks to our scholarship program.
