Jim Brickman, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, began playing piano at the age of five and studied music at the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music.

Jim Brickman has received international acclaim as a concert performer, and has revolutionized the sound of solo piano with his pop-style instrumentals and star-studded vocal collaborations.  In addition to his popular live concerts in more than 125 cities each year, Jim Brickman is an author of two best-selling books, along with being host of Your Weekend with Jim Brickman.  Jim also lends a hand to several charitable foundations for children including Autism Speaks, UNICEF, and Camp Heartland.
