The 39th Annual Trek Across Maine will kick off this Friday, June 16, launching a weekend of riding in support of lung education, advocacy and research to help prevent and treat lung-related illnesses.
The multi-day cycling event starts and ends at Thomas Point Beach & Campground in Brunswick. There are overnight stops at Bates College in Lewiston and St. Joseph’s College in Standish. There are activities, entertainment and food at each location.
This year, riders range in age from 8 to 82.
