25-year-old Lindel “Anthony” Wilson of Orneville has been arrested in connection with an assault in Orneville that left a man severely injured and two women hurt.
From the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office:
On October 28, 2025 at approximately 1010 p.m. the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received a report of an assault that had occurred in Orneville. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office along with the Three Rivers Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival it was discovered a male subject had been severely injured, and two females had been assaulted. Due to the severity of the injuries, the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit were called and assisted with the investigation.
The investigating deputies working with the District Attorney’s office secured a warrant for the suspect, Lindel “Anthony” Wilson, age 25 of Orneville on the charges of Elevated Aggravated Assault, Class A, Aggravated assault, Class D. On December 2, 2025 Deputies arrested Wilson. He is currently being held at the Piscataquis County Jail on a $10,000 bail. Wilson will soon be making his first court appearance on the charges. Wilson has a criminal history out of South Carolina.
All parties involved were known to each other.
