UPDATE: 40-year-old Justin M. Larrabee of Augusta was pulled out of the Kennebec River this morning, July 9. Larrabee was on the run after a reported domestic abuse incident on Riverside Drive on July 5.

The body was discovered at the base of the Cushnoc Crossing Bridge in the Kennebec River.

ORIGINAL STORY: Augusta Police are still searching for 40-year-old Justin Larrabee of Augusta. He is suspected of domestic violence and is considered armed and dangerous.

Police were called to Riverside Drive for a domestic assault early Friday afternoon, July 5. That led to an hours-long shelter-in-place order for that area.

Larrabee reportedly displayed a firearm and made threats to his family. He left the scene before police arrived and remains on the run.
