Well, bluegrass lovers, here it comes!
The Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival will celebrate its 65th show this Thursday through Sunday at the Litchfield Fairgrounds on Plains Road.
The four-day event will feature live bluegrass performances Thursday through Saturday, along with a Sunday morning gospel sing-along and jam. Festivalgoers can also take part in informal jam sessions throughout the grounds, including 24-hour field picking.
Food, arts and crafts vendors will be on hand throughout the festival.
The event also includes the free Blistered Fingers Kids Academy, a three-day music program for children ages 6 to 18. Participants can bring their own instruments and learn in a laid back setting.
