The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Kaleb Halsey of Bowdoinham died after a car crash during a police chase in Woolwich.
Last night, Jan. 14, deputies tried to pull over Halsey for driving erratically on Rt. 128. He then attempted to pass another driver, causing him to lose control of his vehicle.
Halsey then went off the road and hit a granite fence post before crashing into a utility pole.
The crash is under investigation.
