Canaan Man Leads Police on Chase that Ends in Crash

39-year-old Nicholas Hanson of Canaan is accused of leading police on a chase through Skowhegan and Madison and is now facing 10 charges. Hanson is charged in driving to endanger in the the Feb. 9 incident after a chase ended in a crash at the intersection of Route 148 and Blackwell Hill Road in Madison.

Small amounts of fentanyl and crack cocaine were discovered on Hanson.
