The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has announced the return of their “Citizens Police Academy.”

Applications are currently being accepted for the 6-week program at the Day Mountain Middle School in Strong, Wednesday evenings 6pm-8pm, beginning Feb. 21.

According to the FCSO Facebook page:

The Citizens Police Academy is a formal program designed to acquaint community residents with a better understanding of how Law Enforcement and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office functions on a daily basis.

There is no fee to attend.
