13 dairy cows traveling from Maine to Ohio were killed after a crash in Newtown, Connecticut early yesterday morning, Oct. 19.
The tractor trailer was carrying 44 cows at the time of the crash. The remaining 31 cows are being evaluated by the state veterinarian.
