Joseph Eaton, 34, of Bowdoin, made his first court appearance today, April 20, at at the District Court in West Bath.
Eaton has confessed to four murders, including his parents, in their Bowdoin home, and to this week’s shootings in Yarmouth on I-295.
He has admitted to killing two of his parent’s friends.

According to WGME, police found a note in the kitchen stating that someone was molested but nothing was done about it. The note mentioned someone being free from pain, and the author talked about wanting a new life. It was not addressed to anyone or signed.
