Lewiston Police Seek Public Help Identifying Person in Connection with Shots Fired Incident

Lewiston Police are investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred on Sunday evening, June 21, in the area of Walnut Street and Howard Street.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the report of shots fired at approximately 5:11 p.m. They were later joined by members of the Criminal Investigation Division.

No injuries were reported, though at least one building in the area sustained damage from the gunfire. The investigation remains active.As part of their ongoing efforts, Lewiston Police have released photographs of an individual they wish to speak with regarding the incident.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the person to come forward.
