UPDATE:
The victim of the fatal fire in Lincolnville has been identified as 75-year-old Fritz Trisdale. Mr. Trisdale lived alone at the residence.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Saturday morning, June 24, the Lincolnville Fire Department responded to a house fire at 11 Miller Town Drive in Lincolnville.
From the Maine State Police:
During suppression efforts firefighters located a deceased adult male inside the residence. The Fire Marshal’s office was contacted and Investigators responded to the scene. The deceased was removed from the scene and transported to a local funeral home where an exam will be completed by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner. Fire Investigators were on scene for the rest of the afternoon. The investigation continues. Searsmont Fire Department, Belfast Fire Department, Rockport Fire Department.
