Gov. Janet Mills announced today, May 11, a new initiative, called “Your Shot To Get Outdoors.” The initiative was revealed during a virtual meeting with President Joe Biden, discussing how Maine is among the highest vaccination rates of any state.

Adults who get a first dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines or the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be eligible for free Sea Dogs tickets, $20 L.L. Bean gift cards, state park passes, Oxford Plains Speedway tickets and other giveaways. The promotion will run until May 31.
