According to the Bangor Daily News, at Monday’s (Nov. 13) special meeting of the school committee meeting, Wiscasset Superintendent Kim Andersson recommended the dismissal of the principal of Wiscasset Middle High School, Gina Stevens.
Stevens is accused of improperly authorizing the installation of a hidden camera in a school closet. Also, according to the BDN, the principal is said to have removed a student without following appropriate procedures, mistreated staff, and baselessly accused students of vaping.
Another hearing on the matter will be scheduled.
