The Bangor Police Department continues to investigate the death of a Penobscot County Jail inmate that occurred on June 20.
The female has been identified as 39-year old Jodi Melanson of Eastport.
No other information is immediately available at this time.
Medical Examiner, Department of Corrections, and testing reports are all still pending.
