New Hampshire Man Dies in Crash on I-95 in Newport

33-year-old Juan Guallpa of Lempster, New Hampshire, died at the scene of a crash involving a stopped vehicle and a tractor-trailer on I-95 in Newport.

Maine State Police say Guallpa was stopped in the northbound travel lane when his vehicle was rear-ended by a Freightliner tractor-trailer, Tuesday night, March 31.

The car was pushed into the median by the impact, while the tractor-trailer also went into median.

The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered minor injuries.
