As cold weather approaches, “National Carbon Monoxide Awareness” month is a good time to learn how to protect yourself from this odorless, colorless gas.

Every year in the U.S, carbon monoxide is responsible for:

  • 100,000+ ER visits
  • 14,000+ hospitalizations
  • 1,200 deaths

From: the National Carbon Monoxide Awareness Association

Test a carbon monoxide alarm, start a conversation, or share a survivor’s story; your actions matter. One month of focused attention can create ripples of protection that last all year.

Carbon monoxide is something you can’t see, smell, or taste. It kills, but it’s preventable. Get more HERE.
