Oakland Mother Sentenced for Manslaughter in Death of Son

Ashley Malloy of Oakland has been sentenced to 10 years, with all but four suspended. Malloy exposed her 14-month-old son to drugs which caused his death.

Following her four years of incarceration for manslaughter, she will serve six years of probation. She was also ordered to pay a $565 fine.
