Legendary Black Sabbath frontman and solo artist Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 76.

The family released a statement confirming his passing: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love”.

No immediate cause of death was officially released, but Osbourne had been battling Parkinson’s disease since 2003 and experienced other health issues, including a significant spinal injury from a 2019 fall. These health struggles led to his stepping back from touring.

Osbourne’s final performance occurred on July 5 at a Black Sabbath benefit concert in Birmingham, England, titled “Back to the Beginning”. He performed while seated on a throne due to his health.
