Scarborough Fisherman Gets Weirded Out as Sharks Swim Around His Boat [VIDEO]

Two sharks were spotted off Scarborough’s Pine Point Beach on Tuesday, according to the town’s Public Safety Team.

Officials said the sharks, estimated at 6 to 8 feet long, were seen near the southern end of Prouts Neck and the mouth of the Scarborough River.

A local fisherman captured video of the encounters, which was later reviewed by a shark expert with the New England Aquarium and reported to Scarborough Marine Resource Officer Daryen Granata.

In one video, a shark can be seen swimming close to a man fishing from a paddleboard. Officials said a second video shows another shark passing near the same fisherman.
