ORIGINAL STORY, Nov. 1:
Police are looking for a suspect in the the Bangor Savings Bank in Waterville yesterday afternoon, Oct. 31. Officials say the same suspect robbed the Circle K on Norridgewock Road in Fairfield early this morning, Nov. 1.
The suspect is about 5’9”, approximately 160 to 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

On October 31, 2023, at approximately 4:50 PM the Bangor Savings Bank in Waterville was robbed by a lone male suspect. The suspect provided a threatening note to the teller and was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers from the Waterville, Winslow, and Fairfield Police Departments responded to the area but did not locate the suspect, who was described as 5’09” approximately 160 to 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
On November 1, 2023, at approximately 1:50 AM the Circle K at 149 Norridgewock Road in Fairfield was also robbed by a suspect, believed by law enforcement to be the same person involved in the earlier robbery. The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.
Fairfield Police and Waterville Police are investigating these cases jointly and are asking anyone with information to call Det. Chase Fabian of the Waterville Police Department at 207-680-4700 or Det. Shanna Blodgett of the Fairfield Police Department at 207-453-9322.
