Rockland Police say 24-year-old Timothy Chickering of South Thomaston has been arrested on gun and drug charges.

On 12/02/2025, at approximately 10:45 PM, officers conducting pro-active traffic enforcement in the area of several nuisance properties, stopped a vehicle for moving violations. The operator was identified as Timothy Chickering (24 years-old of South Thomaston). Timothy was found to have a suspended drivers license.
During the investigation, officers observed Chickering attempting to conceal drug paraphernalia. Further investigation found Chickering was carrying a concealed pistol on his person, and drugs were found in the vehicle. Chickering was arrested for Possession of Scheduled Drugs, Illegal Possession of a Firearm (possession by a user of controlled substances), as well as motor vehicle violations.
