Central Maine Power has released an update on where they are in restoring power to the thousands of Mainers after this week’s storm.

UPDATE: 9:00 AM – 12.22.2023

From CMP:

Today, we continue to add crews and move resources into the hardest hit regions. We expect to restore power to more than 23,000 of the 30,000 remaining customers today and to the vast majority by tomorrow, other than some camp roads, flooded roads and inaccessible areas.

We have established estimated restoration times (ETR) for all customers. When crews arrive on site, the ETR may be adjusted and in some cases, customers may be restored before the original ETR.

We appreciate our Community Partners – restaurants, stores, colleges, and others – who have helped us feed, house and equip our crews so they can stay focused on restoration. It’s a team effort.
