Suspect Sought Who Caused over $20K in Damage at Southern Maine Nursery

Maine Warden Service is seeking information regarding a snowmobile rider that caused over $20,000 worth of damage to a nursery in Dayton.

Saco Pathfinders Snowmobile Club and Maine Snowmobile Association are each offering $500, and Maine Operation Game Thief is offering $1,000, for a total reward of $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.

At some point between Thursday, Feb. 26 and Saturday, Feb. 28, someone took a snowmobile off the marked trail and rode through a roped off area, running over and damaging numerous small trees and saplings at Pierson Nurseries in Dayton. It is estimated that the rider caused $21,000 worth of damage.
