Teen Driver Safety week is underway. It’s a great reminder that distracted driving causes up to 60% of crashes, according to AAA.
Having passengers in the car and being on the phone are the 2 biggest distractions for teens while driving.
The MaineDOT reports that there were 14 teen driver deaths in Maine in 2022. Eight so far, this year.
