The investigation continues into the circumstances surrounding the death in Southwest Harbor of Amber Robbins, 35, of Tremont.

Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit North and Southwest Harbor Police Department continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman on Main Street that occurred on the night of June 10, 2023 or the early morning hours of June 11, 2023. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Amber Robbins of Tremont who died from blunt force trauma, according to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta. The incident is being investigated as a hit and run motor vehicle crash. Police do not feel there is an ongoing threat to the public. If anyone noticed anything suspicious in the area of 61 Main Street between Saturday night and Sunday morning, please call the Maine State Police at 207-973-3700.
