The U.S. Border Patrol Houlton Sector announced that Jackman Station Border Patrol Agents arrested 13 Romanian citizens during a traffic stop near Skowhegan.
It was discovered that they were illegally present in the United States, and they were arrested and are now facing deportation.
Also, arrested was a Colombian gang member in Union, last week. The person is a member of the South American Theft Group and was allegedly in the U.S. illegally. The suspect was also wanted in New Jersey for burglary.
