Xavier Pelkey of Waterville pleaded guilty in April to conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists.
He has now been sentenced to 15 years in prison for conspiracy to attack a Chicago mosque and other houses of worship..
Reports say Pelkey was subscribed to a radical form of Sunni Islam and supporters of ISIS.
