A ruptured pipe has sent 150,000 gallons of untreated sewage from the Chaffee Brook Pump Station to Waterville’s Kennebec Sanitary Treatment District.
According to CentralMaine.com, construction workers were in the final stages of replacing the single pipe beneath the Kennebec River.
