Woman Arrested in Connection with Maine Marijuana Grow Facilities

Jiamin Liao, 29, faces up to 20 years in prison. She is accused of running illegal marijuana grow facilities in Madison and Norridgewock.

Around 600 marijuana plants were discovered at the two locations.

According to WGME, a leaked federal government memo claims there are up to 270 large-scale illegal grows in Maine connected to Chinese organized crime.
