Bangor Police arrested a man for reportedly assaulting a woman walking downtown Wednesday afternoon, April 29.
Police were called to a downtown restaurant where a woman says a man followed her as she was walking away from the establishment and grabbed her. The complainant was able to provide a description of the assailant.
Officials located a man matching that description nearby.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested Devin Anderson, 35, an unhoused person from Oregon. Anderson was charged with assault.
