Raheem Goodwin, 22, of Benton is charged with the murder of 62-year-old Edwin Weeks of Fairfield. Goodwin is expected to be arraigned today, Feb. 27.
The incident occurred in November 2023. An autopsy determined that Weeks died of “sharp force trauma.”
A Maine man charged with murder claimed he thought the victim was a sex offender before killing him, which according to the state, he was not.
