Central Maine Medical Center Will End Trauma Center Designation

According to CBS 13, WGME, Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston will, as of Dec. 1, no longer be designated as a trauma center.

This leaves only two hospitals in Maine, Maine Medical Center in Portland and Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, that hold trauma-center designations.
