A Waterville police officer, and three others, were injured Monday afternoon, Feb. 26, in a four-vehicle crash on Kennedy Memorial Drive.

The crash happened near the CVS Pharmacy when Officer Jake Whitley had his lights and sirens activated. Then a Honda CRV pulled out into the road. That caused the cruiser to hit the vehicle.

According to CentralMaine.com, the Honda then slid into a Ford F-150 pickup truck that was stopped at a traffic light, which caused the truck to hit a Nissan Pathfinder that was also stopped at the traffic light.

All involved, who were injured, are expected to be okay.
