Good Samaritan Who Helped Rescue a Pair in Hallowell Fire, Identified

The good Samaritan who helped save a father and his child from a burning building in Hallowell has been identified as Mohamad Daaboul, who lives in Phoenix.

Daaboul was visiting family in Hallowell at the time of last week’s fire at a Franklin Street.

A father and daughter were trapped on the roof, when Daaboul grabbed a ladder and with the help of a police officer, rescued the pair off the roof.

According to CentralMaine.com, Daaboul met with the man he helped save earlier this week.
