51-one-year-old Scott Palmer has been charged with kidnapping after an incident Friday night, June 19, in Hallowell.
Palmer, who was already on probation for gross sexual assault, is facing charges including kidnapping, criminal restraint and assault.
According to CBS 13, WGME, a police officer spotted an SUV parked in the “Vaughn Woods” lot, after dark. Police noticed a female passenger, who mouthed for help without speaking. After the pair were removed from the vehicle, the female told police that, “…she was driven around the Hallowell area unwillingly, in an attempt to get her to exit the car and go into the woods for sex.”
