Marijuana Grow Operation Busted in Harmony

The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office has busted an illegal marijuana growing operation on the South Road in Harmony. It’s the second time the location has been raided.

Arrested were 51-year-old Wenfeng Chen and 71-year-old Xinwen Zhang, both of Massachusetts.

Reportedly, more than 1,400 marijuana plants, about 100 pounds of processed marijuana were seized. Also, a gun, ammunition and $1,600 in suspected drug proceeds were discovered during the search.
