In Limestone, which was once known mostly for Loring Airforce Base, has become so much more!
Here are some key points to know about Limestone:
It’s home to the Maine School of Science and Mathematics, which is a top-ranked public boarding high school sharing a campus with the local high school. It has the Loring Commerce Centre, a huge business park on the grounds of the former Loring Air Force Base. It also is home to the must see Loring Air Museum which contains military history of the former air base.
Now, a new addition to the Commerce Centre is a gigantic ($75M) potato chip plant, “Taste of Maine.”
