The Bangor State Fair, a yearly agricultural celebration in the Queen City, happens from Thursday, July 30th through Saturday, August 8th.
In additions to Smokey’s Greater Shows midway, there will be many events including the World’s Largest Demolition Derby, The Freedom Truck and several contests, which include apple pie, blueberry pie and, a Maine favorite, whoopie pie!
Two of this years big stage acts are The Marshall tucker Band on Friday night and Julia Haven (Gagnon) on Saturday night.
