Much of Maine continues to be designated as “High” for fire danger. It does not look like the designations will change much for the foreseeable future.
Most burn permits are not being allowed currently. Please check with your local municipality.
The serious drought conditions continue so officials are warning to exercise caution and do your part to prevent wildfires.
