The Mills administration today, March 2, announced that the state will be lifting their school mask recommendation. The Maine CDC says universal indoor masking is no longer a recommendation for schools and child care providers.
The new recommendation begins March 9.
It will still be up to individual school districts to decide whether to rescind mask mandates.
